Here we share a small selection of activities and events taking place near Hawthorns Caravan Park this Easter. Venture offsite and enjoy a fun-filled day out with your family in one of the towns surrounding our Lancashire holiday home park. There is so much to do in the local area, you’ll be spoilt for choice when deciding how to spend your free time. Enjoy an Easter egg hunt with the little ones or head to the farmers market to pick up some artisan treats to enjoy when you get home.
However you choose to spend your day, we guarantee you’ll make memories to cherish! One of the best things about owning a static caravan at Hawthorns Park is that you can welcome family to stay whenever you choose.

Wednesday 16th April
The Great Peter Rabbit Egg Hunt at The World of Beatrix Potter, Bowness on Windermere
50 ceramic eggs hidden around family favourite walks in the lakes.
The fun starts at 10am.
Good Friday 18th April
Farmers’ Market at Milnthorpe. There is also an outdoor Church Service, Morris Men events and fun fair.
18th-21st April
Easter Egg Trail at Sizergh Castle and Gardens 015395 60951. Follow the clues around the gardens on the Easter egg trail and have a go designing your own Egg Head in the national competition in this great family day out.
Easter Saturday 19th April
Whittington Races. Have a great day out. Take your picnic basket, table and chairs and a little cash to pick a winner. This local point to point is not to be missed.
Saturday 26th April
Wray village Scarecrow Festival and Fair 2014. It all starts with a 10km road race.
