Windermere Christmas Celebration

After unfortunately having to cancel the planned events in 2020 and 2021 due to coronavirus restrictions, there is much anticipation for Windermere Christmas Celebration to return on the 10th and 11th December, 2022! Although we don’t have all the details regarding the event yet, you can expect to visit a wide range of independent local traders to be open, stalls to be selling locally made Christmas gifts, crafts, festive foods, hot and cold drinks and more!

Discussing the festive celebration, Event Director Kate Barton, said “It’s been a challenging couple of years to put on an event like this, but with some slight changes we are able to still operate this popular event in Windermere and we hope this year will be the best yet.”

The Windermere community is a festive force to behold, and the atmosphere at the Windermere Christmas Celebration promises to get the whole family in the Christmas spirit!

Keep an eye on the Windermere Christmas website for updates on the Celebration. The dates for your diaries: 10th and 11th December.

Windermere Christmas strongly recommend that visitors park in Bowness-on-Windermere and get the FREE shuttle bus to the Celebration.
