We’ve had the most unpredictable of years with two national lockdowns. It has been a time to appreciate the wonder that is nature, which we are so fortunate to have and enjoy the outdoors when we can. The glorious wildlife through the seasons is always a thing of beauty at Hawthorns Park, and this year we’ve appreciated it more than ever. As always, our grounds are maintained to a very high standard. Here’s a collection of some of our favourite pictures of the park throughout the year in 2020.
Spring
The park was in full bloom in Spring with tulips, forget me nots, bluebells and snowdrops. We have something in the region of 10,000 daffodils around the park! A great time of the year to get out and about and explore the stunning surroundings.

Summer
When we reopened the park in July following the spring national lockdown, holiday home owners were treated to weeks of summer sunshine. This was the perfect time of the year to head to The Lakes for some relaxing time out on the water.

Autumn
A warm palette of browns, oranges and reds made up the views around the park in autumn, a great time of year to get back to nature. We had a magnificent golden display of autumn leaves and brightly coloured berries.

Winter
Things may have become cooler at the park, but we were treated to some bright blue skies and crisp winter days. We awaited the arrival of snowflakes to see if we’ve be in for a white Christmas and the perfect winter wonderland at the park.

As we approach the end of the year it gives us a chance to look back and reflect on events of 2020. We’ve given a warm welcome to new holiday home owners and wish them happy holidays at Hawthorns for many years to come.
We’d like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a merry Christmas and good health in 2021!
