It’s November, and now that the clocks have gone back the evenings draw in earlier, and the weather is getting cold. This means there are a lot less goings on in the Lake District compared to the bright, warm and sunny days of summer, but as we start to enter the festive season there’s still plenty to see and do. November means two big events, held throughout the country on various different days: Guy Fawkes Night and Switching on the Christmas Lights.
