Hello, my name is Philip and I’m the Park Manager here at Hawthorns.  I’m an Electrical engineer and was in the food industry for 15 years. I came into the holiday industry in 2005 when I bought a Canal boat hire business. I sold that in 2014 and since 2015 have been managing holiday parks in North Wales. I started here at Hawthorns Park on the 1st Feb 2018. It is a beautiful park with wonderful views of the surrounding area, I feel very privileged to be part of such a special place.

I have a lovely fiancée, Imelda, who is an artist and between us we have three lovely children who have all grown up and flown the nest.

We love walking, cycling, photography and of course painting. One of our passions is food, we love to find good local restaurants on our walks, but we also love creating our own amazing dishes, especially Indian.

I am David, the Park Landscape Gardener/Handyman. I joined the team in 2015 and I am very proud of my contribution to helping Hawthorns gain the Five Star Gold Award. My wife and I relocated to the area after holidaying here for many years.

I have over 30 years’ experience of landscape gardening and maintenance. Before joining Hawthorns, I ran my own landscape and nursery business, after gaining my horticultural qualifications at college.

My interests include home renovations and finding new and interesting walks with my wife and our King Charles Cavalier, Louie.

My name is Karen and I work one day in the office dealing with aftersales amongst other general duties. I joined Hawthorns in November 2012 and live in a village near Milnthorpe.

Hello, we are the Wright family; Deryck, Monika and Ashley. We have owned and managed Hawthorns since 1991 and are extremely proud of the park, it is also our family home. We are dedicated to the continuous improvements of Hawthorns, our commitment to conservation and the natural environment always at the heart of everything we do.
